Description
The Memphis Audio MJ1512 is a 15-inch MOJO subwoofer designed for a dedicated high-output car audio bass system. Its power handling is rated at 2,000 watts RMS and 4,000 watts peak. FLEX technology lets you select a 1- or 2-ohm impedance with the included jumper, giving installers flexibility when matching the subwoofer to suitable amplification.
The driver features an orange cast aluminum basket, high-roll surround, reinforced suspension and a 4-inch voice coil. Direct Vent Voice Coil Cooling and basket ventilation support heat management. Allow 9.06 inches of mounting depth and a 13.81-inch cutout when planning the enclosure. Confirm the recommended enclosure design and amplifier output, and provide an electrical system and fused wiring appropriate for the intended power level.
