Description
The Memphis Audio MS69MV is a pair of 6 x 9-inch MSeries midwoofers for a custom car audio speaker system. These MV models use center phase plugs and do not include tweeters, making them a starting point for an installation with separately selected high-frequency drivers. Carbon-fiber cones, rubber surrounds and external passive crossovers support the midwoofer section of the system.
Memphis lists 75 watts RMS and 150 watts peak power handling, 91 dB sensitivity and a 3-inch mounting depth. The MClip crossover mounting solution helps organize the crossover installation. Pair the midwoofers with compatible tweeters and appropriate filtering when designing a two- or three-way system, and verify the amplifier load and crossover layout. Check the vehicle opening, mounting pattern and depth before ordering; these are midwoofers rather than a complete coaxial speaker set.
