Memphis Audio MXA80L

The Memphis Audio MXA80L is a pair of 8-inch marine-grade coaxial speakers with integrated RGB LED lighting. Designed for boats and powersports audio systems, the speakers combine full-range sound with a choice of gunmetal or white protective grilles and removable mesh inserts. They suit installations with space for an 8-inch speaker and the additional mounting depth that size requires.

Memphis specifies 60 watts RMS and 120 watts peak power handling, 89 dB sensitivity and a 3.35-inch mounting depth. Construction includes an injection-molded polypropylene cone, butyl rubber surround and a swivel-mount aluminum tweeter, with protection against UV exposure, water and the elements. Confirm cutout dimensions, mounting clearance, speaker impedance and amplifier matching before installation. Plan compatible RGB control and wiring separately when integrating the lighting into the system.
