Description
The Memphis Audio MXA8GKIT is an 8 AWG amplifier wiring kit designed for marine and powersports audio installations. It uses corrosion-resistant tinned copper wiring and a waterproof fuse holder to support a properly planned amplifier power connection in boats, UTVs and ATVs. The kit also includes marine-grade speaker wire for connecting the speakers in the system.
Memphis specifies 8 AWG power wire, an AFS fuse holder, one ETP-6 interconnect and 30 feet of 18 AWG speaker wire. Select the kit according to the amplifier’s current requirements and the total cable run, and size the fuse to the amplifier and wiring specifications. Check the required lengths and connectors before ordering. Install the main fuse close to the power source and secure all wiring away from heat and moving parts.
