Description
The Memphis Audio PRX1000.1V2 Power Reference amplifier supplies dedicated power for a compatible subwoofer system. Rated RMS output is 400 watts at 4 ohms, 750 watts at 2 ohms and 1,000 watts at 1 ohm. Its compact enclosure measures 8.6 by 5.7 by 2.16 inches, providing flexible placement when planning a car audio installation.
Variable crossovers, an adjustable subsonic filter and 0–12 dB EQ boost let installers tune the bass output for the connected subwoofer and enclosure. An extruded aluminum heatsink supports heat management, while top-mounted controls sit beneath an acrylic panel. Blue LED top and ground lighting add a visual accent. Memphis recommends the 4GKIT amplifier wiring kit; verify power requirements, ventilation and final speaker impedance before installation.
