Memphis Audio PRX12FT

The Memphis Audio PRX12FT is a 12-inch Power Reference subwoofer with FLEX triple voice coil technology. A movable jumper lets you select a 1-, 2- or 4-ohm load, making it easier to match the driver to a compatible amplifier or plan future system changes. Power handling is rated at 400 watts RMS and 800 watts peak for a dedicated car audio bass installation.

The driver uses a polypropylene cone, stitched butyl rubber surround, reinforced spider and Direct Voice Coil Cooling technology. Installation requires 5.5 inches of mounting depth and an 11-inch cutout. Choose an enclosure suited to the subwoofer and verify amplifier output at the selected impedance. Allow rear clearance and use appropriate low-pass filtering when integrating the driver with the rest of your speakers.
