Description
The Memphis Audio PRX1500.5V2 Power Reference combines four speaker channels and a dedicated subwoofer channel in one car audio amplifier. RMS ratings are 75 watts by four plus 400 watts at 4 ohms, or 125 watts by four plus 700 watts at 2 ohms. The subwoofer channel can provide 1,000 watts at 1 ohm; that 1-ohm rating does not apply to the four speaker channels.
Features include variable crossovers, EQ boost, subsonic filtering, selectable turn-on, a bass knob and blue LED accents. The chassis measures 11.75 by 5.7 by 2.16 inches, with controls beneath the top panel.
Plan each channel’s load separately and match speaker and subwoofer power handling to the system. Memphis recommends the 4GKIT wiring kit; follow the installation instructions for power supply, fusing and ventilation.
