Memphis Audio PRX400.1V2

The Memphis Audio PRX400.1V2 is a compact Power Reference mono amplifier for car audio subwoofer systems. Memphis lists 230 watts RMS into 4 ohms and 400 watts RMS into 2 ohms. Its extruded aluminum heatsink measures 6.6 by 5.7 by 2.16 inches, providing a compact mounting footprint with controls accessed beneath the top panel.

Variable crossovers, a subsonic filter, adjustable EQ boost and selectable turn-on support bass-system setup. Blue LED top and ground lighting add visual accents to the amplifier. Confirm the subwoofer system’s power handling and final wired impedance against the supplied amplifier documentation. Plan ventilation, cable clearance and access to the controls, and follow the manufacturer’s fuse and power-wire requirements. Memphis recommends its 8GKIT amplifier installation kit.
