Description
The Memphis Audio PRX800.1V2 Power Reference is a compact mono amplifier for a car audio subwoofer system. RMS output is rated at 300 watts into 4 ohms, 500 watts into 2 ohms or 800 watts into 1 ohm.
Variable crossover, subsonic-filter and EQ-boost controls support bass-system setup. The top controls sit beneath an acrylic panel, with blue LED accents above and below the extruded aluminum heatsink. Dimensions are 7.8 by 5.7 by 2.16 inches; Memphis recommends the 4GKIT wiring kit.
Match the subwoofer system’s final wired impedance and power handling to the selected output rating. Provide ventilation and service access, and follow the manufacturer’s fuse and power-cable requirements.
