Description
The Memphis Audio PRXL12FT is a 12-inch Power Reference subwoofer with RGB LED accent lighting around the cone. Rated for 400 watts RMS and 800 watts peak, it combines bass output with an illuminated appearance for custom car audio installations. FLEX selectable impedance provides 1-ohm, 2-ohm and 4-ohm configuration options for matching a compatible amplifier.
The driver uses a polypropylene cone, stitched butyl rubber surround, reinforced spider and Direct Voice Coil Cooling. Mounting depth is 5.5 inches and the required cutout diameter is 11 inches. The lighting can be hard-wired to a suitable 12-volt source or controlled with the optional Memphis MXRGBBTC controller, sold separately. Confirm enclosure requirements, amplifier compatibility and lighting wiring before installation, and configure the impedance according to the Memphis instructions.
