Memphis Audio PRXS1024

The Memphis Audio PRXS1024 Power Reference subwoofer brings a 10-inch driver to installations with limited enclosure depth. Its selectable 2- or 4-ohm impedance helps match the subwoofer to a compatible amplifier, while power handling is rated at 350 watts RMS and 700 watts peak. The shallow design is useful when a conventional-depth subwoofer will not fit the available space.

The driver uses a polypropylene cone, rubber surround and stamped basket, with Direct Voice Coil Cooling technology. A 3-inch mounting depth and 9.05-inch cutout provide key dimensions for planning the enclosure. Verify the required enclosure design and allow clearance behind the driver before installation. Match amplifier output to the chosen impedance, and use appropriate crossover settings so the subwoofer handles the low-frequency part of your system.
