Description
The Memphis Audio SE1000.1V2 Street Edge is a mono amplifier for a car audio subwoofer system. Manufacturer RMS output ratings are 160 watts into 4 ohms or 250 watts into 2 ohms.
A variable crossover, subsonic filter and remote bass knob support subwoofer setup and adjustment. The extruded aluminum heatsink measures 9.76 by 8.07 by 2 inches, and the listed frequency response is 10–400 Hz. Memphis recommends its 8GKIT amplifier wiring kit.
Match the subwoofer’s final wired impedance and power handling to the amplifier before installation. Allow ventilation and space for cable connections, and size and fuse the power wiring according to the installation instructions.
