Memphis Audio SMCHLA

The Memphis Audio SMCHLA is a hideaway media center for powersports, marine and classic car audio installations. A compact control box works with an illuminated wired rotary remote that fits a standard Carling-style rocker-switch opening. Audio can also be managed through the Memphis app for iOS or Android.

Sources include Bluetooth, AUX, AM, FM, weather band and USB. Features include a built-in 50-watt-by-four amplifier, front/rear/Zone 2/subwoofer RCA outputs, RGB lighting control and four programmable relay-trigger outputs. App controls include a seven-band EQ, balance/fade, presets and zone settings.

Plan space for the hideaway box, remote and wiring before installation. Verify speaker loading and the electrical requirements of any lighting or relay-controlled accessories; trigger outputs should be integrated according to the manufacturer’s wiring instructions.
