Description
The Memphis Audio VIV1212 SixFive Series is a 12-inch subwoofer with FLEX selectable 1-ohm or 2-ohm impedance. A repositionable jumper plug sets the load to suit the amplifier and the planned subwoofer system.
Memphis specifies 1,000 watts RMS / 2,000 watts peak power handling. The driver uses a folded V-groove surround, Direct Vent Voice Coil cooling and an aluminum voice coil. Published installation dimensions are a 7.5-inch mounting depth and an 11-inch cutout diameter.
Check the enclosure requirements and internal clearance before fabrication. Confirm that the amplifier supports the selected final load, particularly when more than one subwoofer is connected.
